Since some of my posts are missing essays, I have decided to slowly go through and add essays to those mixes that are missing them.
First off is Rampage Audio 6, where I have written about how I go about constructing hard dance mixes. I think it’s a pretty interesting essay, so have a look!

I’ve just scanned a bio section on Karim from an old Tinrib cd and added it to the page for my Kariminology mix. Check it out!
I’ll be playing dubstep next weekend at the Hackney Wick fleamarket, which is being organized by my friend Eric, the Vinyl Pimp. I’m under strict orders to play no wobblers, so expect a full range of summery tunes from Joker, Martyn, Kode9, and many more. I’m not sure when I’ll be playing yet, but probably sometime in the afternoon.
If you are in the area it should be a lot of fun, so I’d suggest swinging by!
Update 22/07/09: Here’s a map of the location.

Since some people have complained about finding it difficult to find the link to the mix (which is always in the title below the cover image), or that because they are on a Mac they can’t use right-click save as, I have now gone and added a direct link to the sound file on each entry.

Another mix I’ve been enjoying recently is the mix that Gemmy (of Bristol’s Purple Trilogy with Joker and Guido) did for Fact Magazine back in January. It’s a rather nice collection of colorful dubstep tracks, mostly from Bristol, with a large wodge of stuff that is still unreleased five months later. Nothing too mental, or even, I dare say, wobbly, just good tunes.
Worth having a look if you get the chance!
