You should definitely check out the new blog from Glasgow-based electro and techno dj JD Pleks, who, back when he played hard house, was known as DJ Skelp (geddit?). He is an old friend and, indeed, was one of the residents at the Rampage night that I ran in Edinburgh so many years back (in case you are wondering about all the old mixes of mine with Rampage in the title).

Zip packs now available
For those who like their mixes split into individual tracks (like I do!), and who don’t want to go to the hassle of using CueSplitter to split them, I’ve now added links to zip packs containing the chopped-up mixes to the pages for each of my hard house tribute mixes, just above the cue file.
Check them out here:
Baby Doc – A Tribute To Baby Doc
Dom Sweeten – The One True Dominator
Karim – Kariminology
RR Fierce – Forever Fierce
Let me know in the comments below if you want me to add a zip pack for any particular mix.
new mobile version added
For those of you who surf the web on your phone, I’ve just added a mobile version of the site. Let me know what you think. Good? Bad? Indifferent?
Oh, and I’ve also added a few other features (the retweet, the add to any, and a Twitter feed on the side).
new Twitter account
It seems to be very fashionable at the moment, so, why not, eh?

Um, I forgot to mention on the blog post for Bongo’s Furious Finnish Freeform that the guys from Finrg are now giving away all of their tracks on Soundcloud. Go check it out!
Amazing stuff … almost makes me want to splash out on Serato so that I can mix them all together.

UK Free Parties and Free Festivals 1990-1994 – Interesting blog about the early days of the UK free party scene, with lots of video, pics, stories, and other stuff. Excellent background to the world I documented (a bit!) in my Squat Rocking series of mixes.
