… But it is your chance to pick what I do for my next Freeformaniacs mix, which will be broadcast on Thursday the 13th of September so vote now!
In case your memory needs jogging, every few months I do a new mix for the Freeformaniacs show on KraftyRadio.com, and this time I wanted to do something a bit special, a bit different, which is why I’ve come up with two concepts, Nu Energy B-Sides and Stage One Early Trancecore Goodies.
Nu Energy B-Sides: Inspired in part by Thumpa’s Nu Energy Classics, this would be an hour’s worth of tunes from the legendary Nu Energy label … but with a twist! This mix would be drawn only from b-sides, so would feature some lesser known gems.
Four that would feature for sure:
Stage One Early Trancecore Goodies: Stage One Music was one of the key distributors of the early trancecore sound through its labels Stompin’ Choonz, xy2, FDN and D.A.T.A., as well as being behind some top-knotch happy hardcore from labels like Just Another Label and Happy Jacks. This mix would feature some of my fave trancecore releases from their different labels, and would be a proper history lesson, as well as just a wicked listening experience.
Four that would feature for sure:
I’m doing the mix this Sunday, the 9th of September, so whatever has won by Sunday lunchtime will be the mix that I do … get voting!
