Merry Christmas!

Here’s a little festive season present from me to you – an all-vinyl tribute mix to my favorite new skool jungle producer – Tim Reaper!

Tim Reaper is known to his parents as Ed Alloh, he comes from London, and he’s a pretty young guy in comparison to most of us aging ravers who love jungle. I’ve been a big fan of his output for the last few years, so I’m very much excited to have finally put this mix together. He’s probably best known for his atmospheric Amen tearouts, so of course there are plenty of tunes in that style included, but I also tried to show some of the diversity of his output, by also reaching for some rollers, some ragga jungle, and even some old skool hardcore/jungle tekno influenced stuff. This mix was thrown together in one take last night, so there are a few slightly rough moments, but overall I am very pleased with the final results – hopefully you will be as well!

I’ve used records from a variety of labels, but if you want to support his stuff directly, you can buy from his Bandcamp as well as from Seventh Storey Projects.

I don’t have too much else to add – thanks for checking out this year’s crop of mixes, and I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas (if you’re celebrating) and New Year.

See you in 2018!
